“Klein Blue” is a short fashion-focused film that tells the abstract tale of an artist exhibiting her masterwork that blurs the line between creator and creation. Based on the vivid colors and lush imagery, I set out to achieve a blend of runway-style deep house that is supported by an intimate, slightly avant-garde, jazz arrangement which slowly builds into a lavish orchestral crescendo. I also created an arrangement of West African percussion that ebbs and flows throughout the film to give a heightened sense of this mysterious, eclectic world of high art and fashion.
