Home, Orange

“Home, Orange” is a comedic short film set in the early 2000s about a teenager trapped in his girlfriend’s house after her parents return home unannounced. The story is based on a real experience the director had when he was growing up, so he wanted the score to reflect the music of the time. This led to hours of listening to Young Joc, D4L, and of course Dem Franchize Boys who’s song “White Tee” is featured throughout. The result is a crunk score full of 808s and blingy synths that’d make Lil Jon proud.
